Personalized coaching on all college application essay prompts.
Why? Because so much is riding on this.
Why Prompted? Because finding your own story doesn’t have to be overwhelmingly stressful.
The writing process can be fun. It can involve laughter and joy. It can be a road to self-discovery and self-expression. Let me show you.
About my process
I meet in person with juniors and seniors who either have one or more drafts they would like me to help them edit, who have an outline, or who have absolutely no idea what they want to write about. We select which prompts we would like to work on that day. I ask a lot of questions and get to know the student’s story, interests, aspirations, fears, and I make them dig deep.
Everyone has a story; sometimes we just need someone to help us tell it. In the end, it is the student’s words on the page which create something that, if done right, will be the essay that sticks out in the head of someone who just read 50 others. I want my client’s essay to be the one the admissions counselor thinks about on the drive home. That’s the goal: be memorable and authentically captured and feel confident hitting that apply button.
